Aaliyah Dana Haughton (born January 16, 1979 in Brooklyn NY - died August 25 2001 Marsh Harbour, Abacos Islands, Bahamas) was an American R&B and pop singer, dancer, fashion model and actress. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she attended Detroit School of Performing Arts.     One of my favorite songs from the true pricess , if not my favorite Aaliyah joint of all time. The world lost a sweet voice when the good lord decided to take baby girl. Aaliyah will forvere be missed but will more so be forever remembered by those that appreciated her music the most. R I P baby girl, and know your music will live forever.
