This is a fantastic record but I want to know... Why does his debut have 117 itunes reviews but his third album (which should be considered a modern classic) only have 11?
It's okay.

It's great but the song where do my bluebirds fly sounds wired
Breathtaking

His voice is an acquired taste, but his rought, honest vocals, paired with his extremely talented guitar skills, make for a quiet but engaging album that has more emotion and talent than any of that fake folk music that is so popular right now. His other albums are just as beautiful.

this guys music is just incredible. as i stated in my notes on his second album, the wild hunt, he is consistently likened to bob dylan. not that that is an off assessment, but i really think that he is improved beyond what bob dylan did with his music. TMOE is an AMAZING musician and his voice is like listening to a grown man cry, secure in himself. it is music that deserves attention and time. each time i play this album, it gets better than the last. i highly recommend this album and his second, and i eagerly await more from him.

The most important thing to be said about TMOE is that he deserves to stop being likened to Bob Dylan. I know, we're all fans of Mr. Dylan, but it is rare when an artist releases something so new and breathtaking as Kristian Matsson's albums are, and as such, deserve a standing all their own.
Shallow Graves, The Wild Hunt and the self-titled EP are worth every penny, every moment that it takes to absorb. Buy it. Love it.
WOWOWOWowowowow.

Kristian Mattson is an incredible talent, on record and very much live. I am sooo glad he's bringing fingerpicking and REAL acoustic back into the scene, but with a fresh but weathered voice that likens Bob Dylan. Check out his new album, The Wild Hunt, which is a GREAT follow up to this fantastic album. And I can't choose a favorite song off this album. The are recorded and arranged in a way that it is honestly hard to point just ONE out. =]

When Bob Dylan lost his voice I guess we know where to find it now
