About Harry and the Potters

Harry and the Potters are an indie rock band that was formed in Norwood, Massachusetts in 2002 by brothers Joe DeGeorge and Paul DeGeorge. The band was inspired by the J.K. Rowling book series 'Harry Potter' and were the first of many similar artists making music about the fictional boy wizard. Producing what's known as wizard rock, they've released four full-length studio albums: Harry and the Potters (2003), Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock!     The band that started it all! They truly are a wrock band to the core. I love them and I have to say thank you for doing a totally awesome job keeping the wrock alive. I would buy every single one of their CDs if I had enough money. Wrock on!

    I must say Harry and The Potters are one of my favorite bands. First heard about them about five or six years ago. On their site they had some thing about writing to them so I got my two friends to write letters with me. We seriously did all the things they said to do (though it was meant as jokes).. we put perfume and a lock of my friends hair haha. They sent us free pins so now I still cherish my Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock pin =P ahh good times. And Stick It To Dolores is still pretty much my favorite song by them (along with Save Ginny Weasley from the Basilik which is not on this CD). I wish these guys would have played some shows in NJ though.. I never got to see them live.
