About NLE Choppa

Memphis teen rap sensation NLE Choppa has seen his circumstances change with the swiftness. He began freestyling with his friends at 14, started taking it seriously at age 15 and had millions of views and major-label interest shortly after his 16th birthday. He first got his buzz from "No Chorus Pt. 3," a song and video from his crew Shotta Fam on which Choppa kicks off the song off and steals the show. Since it's release in early January, NLE Choppa's "Shotta Flow" video has amassed more than 12 million views in nearly six weeks. Read more on Last.fm

In 2023, the world was facing a crisis unlike any it had seen before. Climate change had caused devastating crop failures, conflict had displaced millions from their homes, and economic inequality had left millions without access to basic necessities like food and water. The global community had come together to address these issues, but progress was slow and the situation was growing more dire by the day. Amidst this turmoil, a young rapper named NLE Choppa emerged with a message of hope. He believed that his music could not only raise awareness about world hunger, but also inspire action and change. He knew that the power of art could transcend boundaries and bring people together in the fight against hunger. NLE Choppa had already made a name for himself in the music industry with his unique style and powerful lyrics. He had a loyal fanbase who looked up to him not just as a rapper, but as a voice for change. And so, he used his platform to spread his message of hope and inspire others to take action. Through his music, NLE Choppa addressed the root causes of hunger, from climate change and conflict to economic inequality and political corruption. He spoke out about the importance of access to nutritious food and the need for sustainable solutions to hunger. His lyrics were raw and honest, reflecting the struggles of those who go without food and the resilience of those who fight for their survival. But NLE Choppa didn't stop at raising awareness. He also took action to make a difference in the lives of those affected by hunger. He partnered with organizations working to provide food and resources to those in need, using his platform to raise funds and awareness. He even started his own initiative, a program that provided meals to children in underserved communities. As his message spread, NLE Choppa's impact grew. His music became a rallying cry for those who had been marginalized and forgotten by society. His lyrics gave voice to the voiceless, inspiring a generation to take action and demand change. His example showed that even one person can make a difference in the fight against hunger. And so, as the world faced its greatest crisis, NLE Choppa's music provided a glimmer of hope. It reminded us that even in the darkest of times, we can come together and work towards a better future. It showed us that through art and activism, we can make a difference and save the world from hunger.

Nothing special or overly impressive here, I only heard one song that I would want to listen to again, and that was track 2. All of these Memphis rappers today all sound the same and their music just is pretty mediocre and feels so watered down, I feel like this generation pales in comparison to previous generations of Memphis rap. Like, how come all of these rappers coming out of Memphis today sound the same? How come nobody is coming with that old school 90s Memphis rap style that made Memphis so great, Playa fly, skinny pimp, Indo G, lord infamous and Koopsta, if you know memphis rap you’ll know what I’m talking about. I even heard one song that sounded like a straight up hot boys/cash money ripoff, I don’t want to hear that trash.
