About Trent Willmon

Willmon was raised on a ranch near Afton, Texas. By his second year in college, he dropped out to join a bluegrass band. In 1995, he moved to Nashville to start a songwriting career, and by 1998 he had a song-publishing contract with Sea Gayle Music. One of his first cuts as a songwriter was "It Doesn't Mean I Don't Love You". This song was recorded by the short-lived duo McHayes (which comprised 1990s country singer Wade Hayes and fiddler Mark McClurg), and reached #41 on the country charts in 2003. Read more on Last.fm

    Hes certaintly not the most original country singer ever, but hes much more real and talented than half the generic crap on pop country radio I hope he gets bigger his newer albums are good as well I just wish I heard him more on the radio keep it up trent

    I bought this CD in March when Trent Willmon performed at the Tennessee 4-H congress. It's great music! (and to make it even better he is a really nice genuine performer!!)

    Pretty good song, it makes you think. It basicly gives the message that sometimes when you care about someone so much youd' rather them hate you, then have no feeling at all. Sad really... Anyways great song.
