About Electrik Red

Comprised of Naomi, Sarah, Lesley and Binkie, Electrik Red hails from both New York City and Canada. Binkie and Lesley, who attended NYC's prestigious Laguardia School of Performing Arts, met the Toronto born Naomi and Sarah while individually performing as back-up dancers for artists like Usher, Mariah Carey and Ciara. After running into each other time and again at auditions and parties, the girls began to form a friendship. "We'd get together on our off time, and strategize," says Naomi. Read more on Last.fm

Electrik Red is so underrated. Hopefully they will bless us with another project in the future.

Maybe it was bad promotion, but this album deserved more attention when it arrived back in 2009. I purchased it off the strength of the singles 'So Good' and 'So Good' Remix. The production is stellar; The-Dream gave the group some dope beats. The Prince influence is blatant on this album. Yet, that isn't a bad thing. Wish these young ladies could have had bigger success.
