After the Spiders from Mars broke up Bowie created a masterpiece "Diamond Dogs" and was working on Station to Staion when this show was recorded. The sound is incredible and you can catch Bowie before he moved into the Philly soul xound of "young American".No doubt replicating the complex musical score of "Diamond Dogs " was not easy but Bowie knocks it out of the park. I was never as fan of" David Live" because he had gone way to far from the energy and sounds of the Spiders from Mars albums but this live show catches Bowie at his best and the songs are very accurate to the Albums.
  • Legendary Show.

If may think if you own "David Live" then this isn't necessary. As great as "David Live" is, this is plenty different and perhaps a more realistic document of the Diamond Dogs tour, before the "plastic soul" started to permeate DB. This show delivers some of his finest performances and thankfully it was documented.
