I love Ron Pope but this album??? There's about 3-5 songs that reflect his old style of music. Really hope the next one has less of a country vibe and is similar to his original songs!

Hotel Room reminds me of why I fell in love with his voice and music. He is truly talented with his songwriting and soul. Some songs on the album are not good, but granted the others make up for it.

what happened to the nighthawks that they would stoop to playing this garbage. this is the typical bad country you hear on the radio these days, the nighthawks need to go back to your swing blues you have done so well for so long

If you haven't discovered Ron Pope, you are missing out on an extraordinary talent. I have been waiting for this album and sure enough it delivers. Songs like "One Shot of Whiskey" show Ron Pope's perfect songwriting and ability. Do yourself a favor and buy this album. It is sure not to disappoint.

Saw Ron Pope and the Nighthawks live last night in NYC..They sounded great and the songs from this album were terrific. They are touring Europe starting next week then the US after that. Highly recommend to see them live.

I'm loving this so far! Shot of whiskey seems to be my favorite

For someone with so much talent in song writing and lyrics, he got lost in this goofy, at times unbearable, country twang. Lets hope he leaves his banjo at home his next album
