I first heard Alexa Melo on Mad Scientist Party Hour when she performed Under Your Skin unplugged as I was playing Minecraft. It blew me away and I would give it re-listens now and then. The Full Album is sweet. Amazing job. Respect.

I received a copy of her album after a show one night at Boardners. Mind blowing performance btw. I'm sure most people want to know what other bands could you compare her to, but that's a tough question to answer. Honestly, you can't compare this album to anything you've ever listened to, because it's BETTER than anything you've ever heard (within the last 20 years anyways). She's dark with just the right amount of light and her vocal range is out of this world! I reserve the title of "genius" for those that actually deserve it, and she is truly a genius. So do your ears a favor and buy the whole album. You'll be glad that you did.
