OK, so I haven't actually listened to the entire album yet, but I like what I've heard so far, and my sister and dad like this album. This is really a review of the iTunes review (I put 5 stars so Morgan wouldn't take a hit). It says that this is her 1st album with "all original material" as opposed to covers....I'm sorry, has this person never heard of Bruce Springsteen? "Dancing in the Dark" is a well-known hit of his, and it's probably his most famous music video. It sounds like a pretty original arrangement; is that what they meant? I'm confused.

Freakin Awesome!! Powerful.. got the feel, got the tone (got a bit of 'Retha), picks good songs.

Morgan has such a strong presence. Her music brings back the style of true jazz in its purest form. I'm so grateful to have discovered her music.

I have seen this woman perform this live. Ms. James has a wonderful voice and she's dedicated to what she sings. Morgan is extremely talented, personable and humbly confident. She and her band's live performances are even more dynamic than her albums.

Awesome powerful voice. I get goosebumps when she hits the highs.

She is a poised and polished professional. Yet relaxed and so engaging. Every move she makes, every perfect note, her smile... Why she is not yet a household name baffles me. I stumbled upon her vintage Beach Boys " Barbie Girl" video and was immediately hooked. There isn't another female performer today who comes close. Move over Taylor, way over.

Just heard a set at Ste Michelle and wow! CDs sold out before I got one.. Thanks iTunes! What a great voice and style...we loved her!

This album is terrific, start to finish. Don’t miss the opportunity to see her live either. We first saw her at the Playboy Jazz Festival where she put on an outstanding, energetic performance that caught our attention, and also last week in Sacramento at an intimate club where she delivered again. On record or live, she puts everything into each song she sings. We wish her continued success.

Morgan James. WOW! WOW! WOW! Just like in the classic movie This is Spinal Tap, Morgan has the ability to take you a little further than you were expecting (to 11) and WOW is it wonderful to go there. I can’t thank Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox enough for introducing me to Morgan’s voice. BRAVO!!!
