  • A Winner!

This sophomore album for The New Students is an incredible final product! They continue to write timeless songs with inspired lyrics and great instrumental arrangements. I love the American folk stories of "Busman’s Holiday,” “Waiting,” and "Freight Train,” juxtaposed with the modern, sentimental stories of "Carroll St.” and “Winter.” The album is balanced with vocal leads from Justin, Briana and Matt. Briana sings her heart out on Pictures, and the entire band, including Sam on bass and Jason on percussion, really soars on Tom McDougal and Lovely Day. Every song on this album is a winner! Heartfelt congratulations to The New Students.
