I was privileged to attend a performance by Isbin with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, L. Slaltkin conducting, on Sat.25th of Sept. 2009 when she gave the recital of a life time. The technique was flawless, her manner and deportment exemplary and the melodic skillfulness was a dream come true. Here, in my presence was a musician remarkable accomplishment. One would be wise to collect anything she performs. Julian Bream- watch out!
