I think that Kate has really matured vocally ever since her first album and that really shows through on this album.
It's a grower!

I have always been a big fan so when Kate's new album dropped I ran to the record store and got it! At first I only liked a few songs then after listening to it they started growing on me and now it doesn't leave my car stereo! Great album just give it a chance!
I love this album

I saw her live and I could tell this is music she's been wanting to make. The punk is perfect and she is a fabulous human being and I love her twist from Made of Bricks to Death Proof. Wonderful job
The Truth.

In this album, you will hear an entirely different side of Kate Nash than you ever have. I think it is absolutely perfect. You are exposed to her anger, to her feelings, and it’s real. I love this album, it’s beautiful. It’s 50% punk, 50% awesome = 100% PERFECT.
This one's for the grrrls.

Fans who think of Kate Nash as a pop musician might be disappointed. For the rest of us, this album represents the next step in her development as an artist, and what an awesome next step this is. Nash incorporates indie and punk sounds into an overtly feminist album still rooted her style but also reminiscent of the likes of Heavens to Betsy and Sleater-Kinney. It's definitely a different direction for her, but one that is no less valid and no less good than her previous efforts. Some fans might be turned off by the change, but I welcome it.
I don't like this at all.

I fell in love with Kate Nash years ago. She was quirky, playful, and had songs that got stuck in my head for hours on on end.
Flash forward to today...I saw her live at the Billboard event in Chicago last night. I thought...this person on stage can not possibly be that singer that I've loved for years. This new punk thing she's doing is just so far from from what I've loved about about her. I know all artists have to eventually branch out and try new things to stay fresh, but her new style is really disappointing.
Yay More Kate

I used to love Kate Nash and was so excited for this album. I believe artists are allowed to change their sound but I think Kate went a little too far trying to do something that doesn't exactly fit her voice or musical style. Her other albums were fun and quirky - this just sounds like a lot of loud music. Not my taste. She can change her musical stylings, but she shouldn't expect her fans to want to change with her.
MMMM......

Her lyrics are still just as intriguing. Although the band drowns her out a few times. But just because its not what we are used to doesn't mean it's not a great album! She so unique and I'm enjoying it.
