I saw these guys supporting Clutch in San Francisco and this band rocks live! But far more than that they have an interesting subtle blend of styles that just picks up up and sweeps you along with them. A truly impressive rhythm section with a bass player and drummer who are just glued together tight. I have never seen a bass player's fingers move like that with the possible exception of Les Claypool. Great vocals and keyboards. Clutch ruled the night but these guys were not outclassed on the same stage by any means. Buy this album - you will not be disappointed. 8 bucks very well spent!

This is an exciting evolution in Lionize's sound. You can really hear the influence of their tour with Clutch in this album. It's power riffs from start to finish that are hard to deny. Unabashed rock that makes you smile, with Lionize's signature reggae influence at times subtly threading its way through transitions and at other times serving as the pulsing heartbeat. Lyrics and vocals have gained nuance since earlier albums and the bass drives forward with purpose drifting on occasion into well crafted flourishes. To put it crassly, this band's balls are getting hairier-for the better.

Honestly one of the best bands out right now. This is what the world needs more of support the bands with the true tallent that arnt top 20 sellouts!

I recently saw these guys live when they were performing with Streetlight Manifesto. These guys are amazing. The bass player was all over the fingerboard the entire time (aside from the drum solo) and the guitarist took the time that he wasn't singing to play some mad riffs. (and he gave me his guitar pick) After the concert I met up with them and bought this CD from them, and now I wish I could go back in time and get all 3 CD's for the $20 deal they were offering. These guys are absolutely amazing, and so is this album. All of the songs hold a similar feeling and sound, so if you enjoy one of these songs, don't hesitate to buy the whole album.

Saw them in Clifton, NJ on 2/9 before they started touring. Blown away by the keys and the heartfelt soul of the singer. Great mix of melodic singing, pauses, and rhythm. Simply awesome. Expand your taste and give it a listen.
