About Nottz

Nottz has produced for some of the biggest names in hip hop including Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, The Game, Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, J Dilla, and G-Unit. Some of his earliest production work was on the Rawkus Records compilation Lyricist Lounge, Volume One, in 1998. From there he landed three tracks on Busta Rhymes' Extinction level Event LP, after Rhymes stumbled across one of his beat tapes. Like many other hip hop producers to emerge before the 2000s Read more on Last.fm

Loved it. Expected a little but not much. Nottz really outdid himself right here. Production is right on point. Production is top class, guest appearances are fly, and Nottz's rapping is good enough to get it done. Overall, one of the best true indie Hip Hop albums of the year. Only thing is that it sounds more like a 9th Wonder or J Dilla alternative Hip Hop album than like "That's the ____" production. If you're looking for a "That's the ___" part II then you're going to need to keep looking. That beat was cool for radio but these are off of the wall. Keep doing what you doing Nottz.

first off, amazing production. a great album, with great beats and good lyrics. some songs are A+'s but some ar B-'s. just an uneven album lyrically wise. Nottz's rhyming talent isn't even close to his producing but his rhyming is still better than average. the beats overshadow the lyrics in a couple of songs. best songs are Never Caught Slippin', and I Do It For Yawl
