I bought this album because of king without a crown. I like like the original version n another live version thats more acoustic. I went almost a year not knowing who sang this song but my heart just thrives off this song. Finally someone singing what i feel.
Checkout mysalvation the truth on itunes u just might like it.

Matisyahu is my favorite artist by far. At our high school's dance party in October, the music was classic rock, but me and my friends Josh and Emery took over the stereo and put on one day! Keep making albums, man! You rock!
Finally on iTunes!

Like others have said, his best work by far. Raw an unrefined...straight real.

No doubt, his best stuff is on this album. Having 17 tracks makes it a journey, and the interludes keep the music from overwhelming you. I wish Matis would return to this kind of music!
My track-by-track review (not including the interludes):
Chop 'Em Down 8/10
Tzama L'Chol Nafshi 9/10
Got No Water 10/10 (personal fave)

Short Nigun 8/10
Candle 10/10
Close My Eyes 10/10

With "Shake off the Dust...Arise," Matisyahu brought together old-school reggae and Hassidic spirituality - creating something universal, yet outspokenly Jewish. This album is essential. A must have.

Finaly! I was waiting forever for the original Matisyahu album to be avialable again.
These are the classics without the overproduced sound - which is nice but not as authentic as what you have here.
My only reason to minus points is I wish they would have kept the original album cover.
Matisyahu: Don't run to far from your roots. You rock and you inspire me. Cant wait for Live at Stubs 2.
All the best!
