As a fan of Kweli since Eternal Reflection & Black Star, this album feels it was produced by an armature and Kweli was less than excited about the beats so he didn't put the work in knowing fans would by it regardless! It has a few good songs but the album as a whole is sub par for these two.

I got half way through this CD and came here to give it a 5 star rating, but decided to be fair and listen to the rest of the tracks before writing this review. Kweli is still putting in quality work after all these years, while so many other rappers got rich and stopped trying. Oh, and there is a track with kweli, jay electronica, j-cole, and mos def all on the same song?????!!!! What more needs to be said. Stop reading this and buy this CD now!

Hi-Tek truly shines with his production on this album: when you hear every song, the instrumentals and mood set always matches Talib's flow and meaning behind his lyrics SOO well!!! Of course, Talib's lyricism is as strong as ever and in fact seems to be much more rhythmically sharp this time around and manages to vary his cadence very well on some tracks. Strong messages and emotions abound here. I bought this album the day I went to see him live in Indianapolis and I must say it's easily one of the best album purchases I've ever made. You will not regret dropping $15 for this album- it will get you further than you can dream of.

Perfect example of why Talib is still the best lyricist in the game. J.cole, Jay Electronica Mos Def and Bun B are perfect compliments to a wonderfully paced album by Hi-Teck. A must cop for all non commercial rap/hip hop fans.

Do yourselves a favor & trust in the brand that is Reflection Eternal. Talib Kweli can REALLY friggin' rap; Kweli's rapping circles around a lot of people in the industry. It's crazy! Hi-Tek always comes correct with the production. He's one of my favorite music producers.

Talib is by far at his best when he and Hi-tek get in the studio and hammer out beat after beat, track after track and create an album together. Talib has had other great albums but the Reflections Eternal albums are on another level. You have to own the first if you don't already then get the second one RPM's and you'll love yourself more or buying those two albums.
