Like order of death, stadium rocking, anthemic OMG DILLIGAF totes awthum. Crank that pup up ‘til the pigs get called in. 2nd play loud, play often cut ya want is Bad Life. A measly $2 USD is all an angry old man needs for just enough essential, raging PIL.
Rest of LP is standard issue PIL wankery appealingly geared to fanatics who would gladly pay to know what they think. That said, This Is Not A Lurve Song & Tie Me To The Length Of That are sonically interesting but they don’t rock.
Fun fact

John Lydon utters the phrase "this is not a love song" in this is not a love song....45 time.

I've been looking for this song ever since I first heard it on an episode of Miami Vice in the '80s! I didn't even know who PiL was back then, but the atmospheric/creepy repetition of the song stuck with me. So glad itunes has made it available!
Still new to me.

This is far from pop but it gives you the feeling John lydon was trying to do something really different in PiL. Like the reviewer below me said, it's a little bit scary but there is so much going on that you won't catch it all the first time. I like this album.
This is what you want

The Order of Death is often overlooked, but it gives me such a good feeling and represents all that was great in this genre in the 80's. I can put this on repeat and it feels familiar and creative and a little scary (like walking at night after a rainstorm).
Great Lp!

Bad Life, this is not a love song, solitaire are cklassics. Features Martin Atkins on drums.
More dancey and drum orientated lp then the previous lps.
Love the horn sections. Some of John's best work.
