About Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald (born February 12, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American R&B/soul singer (sometimes described as a "blue-eyed soul" singer), known for his trademark husky baritone voice. McDonald played in several local bands (such as Mike and the Majestics, Jerry Jay and the Sheratons, the Reebtoors, and The Guild) while attending McCluer High School in his hometown of Ferguson, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. He was 'discovered' while playing with a group called Blue and consequently moved to Los Angeles in 1970. Read more on Last.fm

  • Why??

I just don’t understand, why is Sweet Freedom album only?? That song is an absolute classic, which I grew up with since the mid/late 90s. That song is too good to be put on the album only back burner, at least fix that much. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who finds this ridiculous.

I love Michael McDonald. Have mostly all his songs except for Sweet Freedom. You can only download it if you download the whole album. Just not fair iTunes.😡
  • Why Album Only?

I understand that iTunes does not decide which songs are Album Only and which ones are not. However, I already have most of the songs in this collection and no one wants to pay twice. Sweet Freedom is the only song I do not have.

People are mad because certain songs has album only. It’s not iTunes, Amazon and other download services it’s the artist and or the record company.
