The only problem is the album eventually ends. Each song is like walking through a dream.

This is exactly my kind of music. No one that I know likes the same music as me, and I can never find the right genre. I am in love with all of these songs!

I bought the single for Houses before Remind Me Where the Light Is was released. Although it's still my favorite song, I definitely recommend buying the entire album. Just don't expect the other tracks to sound like Houses. Diversity is part of what makes GN so good. The pop sound of Story and Fingers contrasts well with the more eerie and melodic New Tricks and Numbers. I love the sound of this album from start to finish!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Great Northern perform an opening show at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix for The Dears. While I loved the Dears completely, this band was amazing. Every member of the band seems that they love playing together and it shows as each song has so much passion and feeling. I really hope to too see them back in Phoenix soon. Meanwhile I will have to get by with their albums.

I go to school at 6 in the morning, come home for 15 minutes then leave for work. I get home and go to bed. The only thing that seems to keep me sane, is Great Northern. With their catchy, peaceful songs, brilliant lyrics, and gorgeous voices. I seem to make it through the long days intact. I highly reccomend it, for the sake of your mind :p

I, like some of the other reviewers, was only mildly interested in the new release, and bought it primarily because of the fantastic price. I had previously purchased only individual cuts from their earlier releases. But, WOW, am I glad I bought the whole album on Remind 'Me Where the Light Is.' This is an exceptionally cohesive piece of musical artwork. I was a sort-of-fan of Great Northern, but this disc made me a believer. Particularly fond of Snakes and Mountain. But going from Mountain forward through 33 is a magical musical journey all its own. Truely special stuff. Great Job, Great Northern!

Good Music is hard to find these days and these guys never fail to deliver. The vocals are just memorizing and the song writing brings you to a place where you have never been before. Listen to this album in a dark room with a few candles lit and you will feel the passion and power these guys have put into this album. I have had the pleasure of seeing them live over 10 times now and have had deep conversations with them and this new album does not fail to solidify that they are truly a talent worth owning!

Uplifting and absolutely beautiful, the vocals, the instruments, everything melds together perfectly. I highly recommend purchasing this ablum, worth the $6 completely!
