About Marianne Rosenberg
Marianne Rosenberg (born March 10, 1955, in West Berlin) is a German pop and schlager singer as well as a songwriter. She gained fame in the 1970s with hits like Mr. Paul McCartney, Er gehört zu mir, Lieder der Nacht, and Marleen. Rosenberg was born into an artistic family in Berlin and had a notable relationship with Ilja Richter in the late 1970s. She has a son, Max (born 1993), who is also a musician.
Rosenberg's father, Otto Rosenberg, was a Sinto and a survivor of the Porajmos, the genocide of the European Roma and Sinti during WWII.
