That’s it. So far ahead or so 1990. Cherry-coloured funk fits anytime since 1975 to today. Rad.
30 years later & STILL cutting edge

They were truly ahead of their times. A sound that evokes emotion and, bc the lyrics are gibberish, forces you to focus purely on the music and how it makes you feel. Music is a truly universal language and this album underscores that better than most others.
Amazing from start to finish

This album used to get me out of bed when it came out and nothing else in my life could do that. I was 19. It made life more colorful and more worth-living. I know that sounds over-the-top but I got so much out of it in those days that it made life better for me.
All these years later, I actually live in Las Vegas now, and the title track plays periodically throughout the airport on the loudspeakers. It takes me back to the days when their music was just about everything to me. Still loving them 27 years later!

Cocteau Twins are one of those Love"em or Hate "em bands. Their is no in-between. I personally think they were/are one of the most musical bands of the past 50 years. As a professional singer I listen extremely close to all of the instruments, but especially the vox. Liz Fraser is amazing. Her harmony structure is up there with Queen (not a fan) or The Beach Boys. She paints beautiful pictures with her voice and that is no mean feat.I like almost all of their music, this album included. Enjoy!
Where the heck is song 10?

I didn't think the rest of the album was enjoyable. However despite not being able to understand Heaven Or Las Vegas, I find it to be an exceptionally musical song.
