About Delerium

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Delerium is from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 1987, originally as another side project (Intermix being the more techno-sounding project) of the influential industrial music act, Front Line Assembly. Delerium has traditionally been a two-person project, but the only constant member throughout its history has been Bill Leeb. thank you for placing on itunes! i wore this cd out when i first bought it.... although not very commercial and alot of people don't know about it whenever i feel confused or lost i close my eyes and listen to these songs. my future and direction in life becomes clear. not only that but i think 'paris' will be the introduction during my wedding reception. the music on this cd is magic, fun to listen to, and also enjoyable to dance along with! :D!

This song is fabulous! It's relaxing and beautiful and very...womanly. I highly recommend it for its soothing tempo and Sarah Mclachlan's haunting voice. This version in my opinion surpasses the others because it allows each element in the song to take its course and doesnt overdo the beats or the words. Once again beautiful!

What a wonderful mix of tracks! Love it! If you dig this, you might enjoy a compilation from Chephren Blake called "Dusk 2 Dawn" that is out now on iTunes!

Usually I don't like the entire album of most recording artists but this one is an exception to the rule! It's just awesome! I would have a hard time picking a favorite song so instead, this would be a favorite album!

Silence sounds like music that would be played in Abercrombie and Fitch aha Click yes if you agree

This album is great! There is very little not to like, and the only thing missing seems to be a couple of their tracks like Duende and Aria, which would have made it complete. Otherwise, this is a great way to get into the "lighter side" of the Frontline Assembly family.

Enjoy the silence, and Sarah's amazing voice...
  • Not bad as a compilation for the masses.

As the Album Review states, Delerium's "Best Of" includes their most dancable, fun, and catchy songs, without going overboard and trying to scare away potential fans. Honestly, a better title for the album could be "A Brief Introduction to Delerium." I commend the inclusion of all four major album titles by the time of this compilation's release, but I think the songs could've been more carefully selected to give readers a clearer depiction of Delerium's overall sound. However, that may be a hard task, since every Delerium album has its own personality, own message, and own feel.
