No other recording of the Mass in G minor even compares to the finesse and poise that the Elora Festvial Singers put into this performance. The soloists are fantastic and the choir is perfectly balanced. The tempo fluctuates, painting the text beautifully and the dynamic contrast and flow of the phrase is something I have never heard before. A very good value, more so than any of the other recordings.
