  • This is THE Barry Manilow Album

Literally the first album I ever owned, I played the grooves off the LP and bought it again on cassette and again on CD. Every track is amazing, full of emotion. If you're not totally a blob on the floor after listening to "Even Now," "Somewhere in the Night," and "I Was a Fool" then you must be made of teflon. An awesome music experience.

I remember when I bought this in '78 it had a sticker on it and said something like "song for song one of the best albums" they were right. Song for song, there is not a bad one on this one.

Recently saw Barry Manilow at Radio City Music Hall and was unable to get this CD. Almost every song is a priceless gem. Manilow's greatest gift is his ability to elicit any emotion he wishes from his listeners. He truly is a one of a kind entertainer. Even after surgery, his energy and songs evoked memories to entire audience. Great CD from a great performer.

Known these songs for years LOVE em! Hard to believe that Barry started off writing the State Farm & Band-Aid jingles. I'm 16 and I totally think any of today's music (other than Michael Buble) is nothing but some synthesized rats singing. NO TALENT what so ever. I mean half the artist of today can't even play a instrument so they just rap/talk in the mic. This music will always be the music that moved the generations!! It is timeless :)
