"You Will Be Found" - Powerful & Uplifting

Natalie Grant is my favorite female Christian singer, and she has been for quite a while. “You Will Be Found” is a great duet with Cory Asbury! I love ALL of Natalie’s music, but some songs touch people more than others. Being single, I sometimes feel like nobody’s there since I don’t have a significant other in my life. Even when we are physically alone, we need to remember that we are not alone if we are Christians.
This song reminds us that we need to stretch our hands up to Heaven, be calm, and pray to Jesus. With this busy and hectic world that we live in, when we encounter a quiet time all by ourselves…we may feel lost or alone. That moment or day that we feel down is just that, a “moment” which is a brief period of time. Sure, we hurt, feel down, and maybe depressed; but we will wake up the next morning to start another day rested and refreshed.
People can and will let us down, but Jesus and the Holy Spirit is ALWAYS with us. Pride can tear us down if we try to live life and go through struggles on our own, but we need to reach for Jesus and give our issues away and not deal with them ourselves. It’s in the times of surrender when “you will be found”.
Natalie Grant’s powerful and soulful vocals have so much feeling in every note. Cory Asbury’s voice blends nicely with Natalie and they work well together. I love the choir supporting them as the song builds! This is such an emotional track that brought tears to my eyes the very first time I heard it. I play both artists music on my syndicated Christian radio show called Christian Music Spotlight with Brian David, and together with these lyrics I’m sure quite a few people will be impacted and can relate to this song. There are times when we will fall, but remember to pray to Jesus and “You Will Be Found”.
