Phenomenal album. On heavy rotation. Rap does it again, I thought Laila's wisdom was amazing but EVE was lyrically beautiful, both classics in my opinion. I advise every brother to put Afeni on repeat. Women are not our accesories or anything/anyone less, they are part of us. Keep it up Rap, continue to stay real.

If you don’t hear what she’s saying and feel her emotion in this whole album... well...then....I’m sorry. If we could all open our ears, hear the truth behind her words and appreciate it then we’d all give her 5 stars. But.. to each his own and there’s nothing wrong with that. In a world of watered-down everything it’s refreshing to hear something like this. I’m not trying to compare her but, this takes me back to Tupac albums in the best possible way.
