These are well performed pieces. This is an extremely sharp band. But you are not getting what the composer wrote. I followed the Flying Dutchman overture with my Dover Score, seeing where wind passages in the original were faithful, but violin parts were often given to the clarinets, oboes and/or flutes. Just make sure you know what you are getting. There are no string players in the United States Navy Band.
