Omgosh, okay so my wife and I headed for divorce court I move out of my home and into a friends....who introduced me to JL. I think I wore my friends copy of "Lie to me" clean out, I could not stop playin it. then the same friend years later invites me to see JL live at "The Coach House" in San Juan Capistrano. IF YOU EVER GET A CHANCE to see JONNY LANG live, DO IT! chew your leg, arm or whatever off to get free to see this power house in concert. He pours himself out completely, holding nothing back and there is this infectious crazy JOY I would even go so far as say'in a peace that he imparts to all, almost angelic in nature.....I felt like I'd just stepped out from a Holy Ghost tent revival kinda thing....cant quite put my finger on it, but whatever it is, its a wonderful good feeling. thank you Jonny for getting me through a very sad divorce. Your music transcends

Awesome blues album from when Jonny was in his teens. He’s since earned his chops now that he is older, but this is a visceral first big time release for him. He’s got some all star Minnesota musicians backing him (or guiding) most notably Bruce McCabe on keys. His big hit on this is this title track, but the sleeper song and best on the album is next up called the Darker Side. He’s gotta lit of mouths to feed so he still is out there touring and makes sure to get back to MN to put on a great show.
