In 1995, at the age of 14, Lang released his first album, 'Smokin'. Performing both as himself and as as 'Kid Jonny Lang & The Big Bang', he achieved some budding success. My Momma introduced me to Jonny Lange several years ago and I was hooked instantly. Breakin Me is my favorite but I love all his music. I finally am going to get to see him in concert July 20th at Avondale Brewery with some friends and I'm so excited. I just wish my Mom could of seen him too. She is now in nursing home with dementia but I can take my phone in and play Lie to Me, Believe, because they are more up tempo and she instantly knows it's him singing and even with her Rheumatoid Arthritis body she and other of her roomates at the nursing home instantly light up and their whole face lights up and hands starts clapping and feet start tapping to the beat of Jonny Lange music. I wish I could get a back stage pass to this concert , so I could meet him just for a few seconds and tell him what his music means to Me and My Mother. Love you Jonny Lange.
