I stumbled across REM when they were the opening band for Oingo Biongo at the Alabama Theater in the early 80's. They played the songs from this album and covers. Michael Stipe had long hair and was a pretty good dancer and performer. The next day I rushed out to buy this EP. I have been a fan ever since.

This is an amazing record. It will make you happy and jumpy and introspective all at the same time. Lyrics and guitars are deep and soulful. Do yourself a favor and buy this record.

This album is about as perfect as you can get.
