I still love this album, regardless of how the movie fared, and I would jump at the chance to buy a remastered or anniversary edition including movie songs not included on the album if it were offered.

I agree with the others—this is great music. Aside from an anniversary edition, what’d be cool is a travelling review stage production of just the songs. I’d attend that in a heartbeat. I still play the album every so often, it’s so good.

I am still befuddled by all the hate Xanadu gets. The sound track is a joy from start to end, wish it was a complete sound track, but oh well, it rocks. I listened to it like 5 times last week and it still makes me happy after all these years! Deluxe remaster with all songs from the movie / single b-sides needs to be done!!! ELO & ONJ ❤️

No one and nothing can change my mind. Best soundtrack for a fantasy not only love story but story of how to pursue ones path. Music is hopeful and uplifting giving the listener a childlike nostalgia combined with great rhythms and poetry. Love love love.

This was a great start to the great decade of the 1980s. The songs are timeless; Olivia sounds fantastic & ELO sound incredible. All the songs hold up and are true classics. If there is one soundtrack you need to get it’s this one. You will love it
  • One of the best soundtracks ever!

This album should have won an Oscar for at least the title track. New tracks should be added if a deluxe version is released for the 40th Anniversary edition. Songs like Drum Dreams, You Made Me Love You, Fool Country, etc.
